The Optoma UHZ55 Smart 4K UHD Laser Projector utilises DLP technology to produce stunning images and elevate your home entertainment. With the ability to project a 4K UHD display up to 300 inches, the Optoma UHZ55 ensures a captivating viewing experience with its 3,000 lumens brightness delivering vibrant visuals, while PureMotion technology eliminates motion blur for smooth video playback. For avid gamers, the UHZ55 also features a dedicated game mode to provide rapid response times, delivering lag-free gameplay.

The projector features multiple HDMI 2.0 inputs and three USB ports, enabling simultaneous connectivity to a variety of devices, including game consoles, TVs, and Blu-ray players. With wall colour adjustment, you can select from six different colour gamut options to suit your viewing environment. The UHZ55 also offers a vertical lens shift for a wide range of positioning options, making installation simple. Additionally, the built-in Android launcher provides access to numerous apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime.

Our DLP projectors provide CTA (Consumer Technology Association) approved True 4K UHD resolution, capable of projecting 8.3 million on screen pixels. That's four times more detail than Full HD and twice as many from competing technology, which only delivers 4.1 million pixels.

HDR and HLG compatible
Capable of receiving and displaying both HDR10 and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR content. This Optoma projector allows you to see far more detail and texture. Objects look more solid and lifelike and the extra detail creates a greater sense of depth.

PureMotion
Using sophisticated frame-interpolation technology, advanced motion control processing eliminates motion blurring or image judder, even in high-speed action sequences.

WiSA Certified

Built-in media player

Enhanced gaming mode
Enhanced gaming mode optimises your projector for maximum contrast and vivid colours to capture every detail. It also reduces input lag down to as little as 4.2ms (1080p 240Hz) for lightning-fast response times. (Note: When this setting is enabled some settings will be disabled. 240Hz smooth motion

24p
Most movies are shot at 24 frames per second (fps). To preserve the purity of the original image, Optoma projectors can accept high definition sources at 24 fps to display movies exactly as the director intended.

Geometric correction
Adjust individual points to get the image perfectly square using the advanced built-in geometric correction tool. Ideal if you are not using a screen and have an uneven wall you want to project onto.

Wall colour adjustment
Don’t have a white wall or a projector screen? No problem! With the “Wall Color” setting, you can alter the projected image based on the colour of your wall. With six options to chose from you can easily adjust for blackboard, light yellow, light green, light blue, pink and grey walls to get the most accurate colour gamut.

Apps
Access compatible apps such as YouTube and Spotify using the built-in App store - Marketplace. Perfect for streaming movies, TV shows and clips.
Note: Optoma projectors run on a customised version of android. Google Play Services not supported. Not all third-party apps will be compatible and can vary in quality and resolution.

Our home projectors are capable of reproducing the Rec.709 colour gamut, the international HDTV standard to guarantee accurate reproduction of cinematic colour exactly as the director intended. Or more saturated colours for a punchy looking image, great for gaming and animated movies.

Laser technology
Optoma laser projectors use high-quality lasers to create the projected image. In many situations the perceived brightness from laser illumination projectors can be twice that of an equivalent lamp-based model. Wirelessly display and share content on a big screen using the Creative Cast app or desktop software. Easily mirror your Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS or Chrome device at the touch of a button. Or wirelessly cast images and documents stored on your mobile device. The app also acts as a wireless mouse and keyboard allowing you to control your projector.

Smart Features - Voice control
Enjoy a smarter home entertainment experience with voice control functionality, which makes watching TV and movies easier. Using Alexa or Google Assistant, you can ask Alexa or Google to turn the projector on and off, adjust volume, switch inputs and more. (Note: Alexa smart home control is only currently available in the UK, Germany and France. Google Assistant currently only works in the UK.)
