Sounds With Vision: Audio, Video and Data Specialists
Sounds With Vision are a multidisciplinary audio, video and data solutions supplier based in Somerset but frequently provide solutions throughout the South West and South of the UK.
We work together with clients, architects, and builders to provide some of the best home cinemas, audio HiFi systems, full building wireless networks, and AV systems for education and business.
We’ve continued to support our customers during the COVID-19 pandemic and we remain true to our values of being an independent audio, video and data solutions provider, consulting with our customers and giving them what they need to make the right decision.
The process:
From the initial telephone conversation or email, our passion for understanding your needs and creating a solution that fits your passion within your budget is fundamental. We work with you to design a solution, provide you with options and tailor a bespoke AV system that can be incorporated into your building.
Working with your builders, architects and tradesman on a new site, we’ll project manage your installation to your timescales.
We dont just work on new builds, we can integrate a solution into your existing building. Our team provide post installation aftercare and support, including training on how to use the system once installed.

Creating a Home Cinema Room
Dedicated home cinema room or converting an existing room?
Adding to your TV or media room setup or adding an extension to your property will determine what type of home cinema solution you will need. Early involvement of your idea into your architect's or designer's plans are key to getting the most out of your investment. This also helps with understanding equipment locations, soundproofing and the size of the space available. Our solutions cater for all shaped rooms; we’ll tailor a bespoke home cinema to your dream, as well as your aesthetics. This is what we love doing.
Using an existing multipurpose room for watching movies?
We have many clients who wanted that movie experience in their lounge, but don’t want a dedicated room. We can integrate a Dolby Atmos Sound experience into your existing TV setup, upgrade televisions to larger, greater technical capability (4K, 8K), place electrically controlled screens, with projectors that disappear into the ceiling.
The possibilities are endless.

Consultation, Design, Installation, Support
Bespoke home cinemas from Sounds With Vision are designed to maximise your viewing pleasure. Your initial dream is where our involvement begins. We work with you in turning your dream into reality.
Working with architects, builders, and electricians, we discuss each part of your idea to fully understand your home cinema requirements, taking into consideration each part of the build.
From the initial consultation, we’ll design a solution specifically for your project, from an initial pencil drawing through to the complete solution. We’ll identify the aesthetics, any smart home lighting and control, home cinema seating, speaker locations, cabling requirements and room décor.
Our technical knowledge and professional consultation team will ensure your ideas are taken onto the next stage. Installation work is carried out by our own staff, and we're used to working with any other trades on site to ensure all physical and technical infrastructure requirements are in place for your bespoke home cinema.

Creating a HiFi System
A bespoke HiFi system is as individual as you are.
Music isn’t about just about listening to it, it's about feeling the music, enjoying the feeling of the emotion in the music. At Sounds With Vision our job is to listen to your requirement and match your music and passion to a system that fulfils your passion within your budget.
During our consultation with you, we identify aspects of your HiFi aspirations from what you will be using the system for to how much you are willing to spend.
Areas to consider:
- Types of music sources: Are you streaming from Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, Google Play Music?
- Do you love your vinyl, or want to rediscover music played on a record player?
- HiFi room or multiroom system using a SONOS system?
- Vinyl, CDs, radio, streaming? How do you access your music?
- How will you control the sound?
- How will the system fit into your environment?
- Choosing speakers and HiFi racks and stands to house your investment?
We are absolutely passionate about HiFi systems and how to design these. Paul, our expert, has been doing this for over 40 years! His knowledge and experience is second to none.
AV Solutions For Business & Education
Collaboration on Business Interiors
Sounds With Vision work with office refurbishments and office fit out businesses who specialise in commercial and office interior services.
From initial consultation and design, through to working with them on the delivery of the AV solution. Each project is bespoke to the client's need, and delivered in conjunction with the office fit out or office refurbishment.
Restaurants and Public Venues
Creating ambiance in a restaurant is key to getting the right vibe. Music plays a large part in creating the desired mood. More importantly, getting it wrong can have more impact and loose future business. We work with restaurant, bar and public venue owners to provide the correct solution to their building layout. From zoning to quality of sound, sources of music and discreet solutions, we have a solution for your need.
Education
Integrating AV into the classroom engages students who may otherwise become disengaged or bored and can make learning more enjoyable! The collaboration and communication between students using technology increases their engagement. As 2020 ended and 2021 started, the increased use of portable devices, Zoom and other online learning platforms has proven the capability of achieving remote learning. Our installation and project team have installed touch screen and AV solutions into classrooms around the South West.
