Bookshelf speakers are specifically designed to maximize the sound in small to medium-sized spaces. Placed on a shelf, on a stand or mounted on the wall, they are intended to be mounted off of the floor.
Bookshelf speakers appeal to different aspects of Home HiFi or Home Cinema/Theatre Systems.
As part of a bespoke home HiFi system, bookshelf speakers enable the listener to gain the most sound without compromising space on a shelf or in the room. Linked to a SONOS Amp, a dedicated amplifier or to a Turntable with an amplified source, a bookshelf speaker can create a sublime turntable system with only a few components.
Equally, combining bookshelf speakers as part of a whole home cinema /home theatre system as left, right fronts or rears, you can create a fantastic cinema experience at home.
When placing Bookshelf speakers as part of your home cinema system, it is ideal to stand the speakers at 10 o’clock and 2pm and point these towards the seating area. Speakers should be around 800mm from the floor or to your ear height.
